Bae Ji-hwan’s ‘multi-hit, three-run game’ is back

Bae Ji-hwan (Pittsburgh) returned to the big leagues after shaking off an ankle injury and had a great game in his comeback.

Bae started in center field against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 19 (ET) and went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, and a strikeout.카지노

After feeling soreness in his ankle on March 2 against the Milwaukee Brewers, Bae was placed on the disabled list (IL) the next day. After a rehab assignment at Triple-A, he returned to the big leagues 48 days later.

In his first at-bat, Bae registered a hit.

He led off the first inning with a double to left field on a two-seam fastball from Lopez.

In his second at-bat with two outs in the top of the third, he tried to bunt, but was thrown out at the plate.

After drawing a walk with one out in the top of the fifth, Bae continued his multi-hit performance in the top of the seventh when he took a four-seam fastball from reliever Caleb Tilba and smashed a two-run double directly to the right field wall.

In his final at-bat, a one-out walk in the top of the ninth, he struck out swinging, but his multi-hit, three-RBI performance in his big league return raised hopes for the rest of the season. His season batting average rose to .243 from .238.

Despite Bae’s performance, however, Pittsburgh fell to 1-5 and lost their second straight game.
