In the U12 division, Daejeon Jung-gu Little, Incheon Seo-gu Little, Gyeonggi Siheung Little, Seoul Gangdong Little, Gyeonggi Yangpyeong Little, Seoul Nowon Little, Daejeon Seo-gu Little, and Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Little will play the quarterfinals on the morning of October 8 (Sunday). The finals of each category will be held at 10 o’clock.

Additionally, ‘2023 MLB CUP KOREA’ plans to select the best slugger in domestic youth baseball through the Home Run Derby, which will be held for the first time this year. MLB plans to provide participating players with opportunities for fun and diverse experiences, regardless of whether they win or lose, through various events, including the Home Run Derby, during the tournament period and provide generous prizes, including MLB goods.

Meanwhile, MLB, which established the ‘MLB Scholarship’ for the first time last year to develop Korean youth baseball, will again this year work with the Korea Little Baseball Federation to select 10 players through various criteria such as sportsmanship, baseball skills, and leader recommendation, to receive the 2nd MLB Scholarship. Scholarships will be provided. Last year, Korea was the first time that MLB established a scholarship program outside of the United States.
