Son Heung-min’s frustration has been noticed.
Heung-min has been filling a void up front that has plagued Tottenham this season with the departure of Harry Kane and the underperformance of Christian Bale.
Son’s first goal of the season came against Burnley토스카지노. He scored three goals to complete a hat-trick, ending a promising start.
It was the fourth hat-trick of his EPL career against Burnley this season, joining Southampton (2020/21), Aston Villa (2021/22), and Leicester City (2022/23).
Against Arsenal, Son’s multi-goal performance prevented the Gunners from losing and secured a valuable point away from home. He also scored his 150th goal for Tottenham.
Son was also hot on his feet against Liverpool. He opened the scoring with an assist from James Maddison and reached the milestone of 200 European goals.
Son’s six-goal haul in September was nothing short of spectacular. He was rewarded with the EPL Player of the Month award. It’s the fourth time in his career, after September 2016, April 2017, and October 2020.
His goal against Fulham gave him 152 career goals for Tottenham, including a record 50 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Son was subbed out of the game against Fulham and was caught on camera looking unhappy.
After the game, Son said, “It’s true that I was disappointed not to play the full game. Looking back, I shouldn’t have. It’s nice to see young players come on as substitutes. I will support them more. They are the future of Tottenham,” he explained the situation.
Tottenham fan site ‘Spurs Web’ highlighted the moment when Son expressed his disappointment.
“The reason why manager Enze Postecoglou substituted Son Heung-min was to play against Crystal Palace. I think he was influenced by the idea of giving him a break, even for a short period of time,” and said that it was a plan for the next game.
Son has seven goals in the EPL this season. He is chasing leader Elling Holland and has entered the top scorer’s race.
Tottenham’s Jamie O’Hara said, “For me, Heung-min is one of the best players in world soccer. You can’t deny that he’s a world-class player,” said Tottenham’s Jamie O’Hara.
“He’s been scoring goals in the EPL for a very long time. He has regained his confidence and belief, and I think he is a great player for a frontline striker.”
