[BREAKING] Kane transfer drama: Tottenham accept Munich’s €100m+@ offer. Kane’s decision remains

Harry Kane (Tottenham) is going to Bayern Munich after all. Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern have dramatically resolved their transfer talks.

‘The Athletic’ reported on Tuesday that ‘Tottenham have accepted Bayern’s offer. Tottenham accepted Bayern’s offer, said to be in excess of €100m (£86.4m), on Wednesday. Now they just need to decide on Kane,” the report said.

바카라 Kane had wanted his fate to be decided before the 2023-2024 Premier League opener against Brentford on 13 September, and although the transfer window is closed until 1 September, he had indicated he would simply stay at Tottenham once the league kicked off.

However, Tottenham would be in a position where they would not receive a penny in transfer fees if Kane stays. Kane’s contract runs out in the summer of 2024, making him a free agent.

‘Kane is understood to be enjoying life under new Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou,’ says The Athletic. He had been leaning towards staying, but it is unclear how he will react to the situation’, with the hilt of the sword now in Kane’s hands.

Tottenham had previously rejected two bids from Bayern. Bayern have been trying to sign Kane since June.

Bayern initially opened negotiations with a £60m bid. Tottenham remained unresponsive. Bayern upped their bid to £70m, but were again rebuffed.

For the third time in five days, Bayern made an offer in excess of €100m and demanded a response within 24 hours. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy did not respond and left on a business trip to the United States.

Bayern were rumoured to be preparing a fourth bid of £94m. Contrary to speculation, Levy seems to have decided to accept Bayern’s third offer.

Meanwhile, Bayern are reportedly confident of landing Kane. German media outlet Bild even criticised the idea of spending more than €100m on Kane, saying it would be an overpayment.
