Dutch legend dismissed after 14 games in Mansour’s possession team ‘humiliating again’

Dutch legend Frank de Boer has suffered the humiliation of being sacked by Al Jazira (UAE) after just 14 games in charge.

The Dutchman was handed his notice by the club after back-to-back defeats in recent UAE League matches against Ayman and Al Wahhman. Al Jazeera made the official announcement via ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) that the club had sacked the coach following recent performances and results.월카지노

Al Jazeera have slumped to seventh place in the table, with just six wins (three draws and five defeats) from 14 games under De Boer.

A former Dutch international defender who made it to the Century Club (113 caps) and went on to have illustrious careers at Ajax and Barcelona, De Boer quickly rose to prominence as a coach, taking charge of his hometown club Ajax in 2010 and leading them to four consecutive Eredivisie titles.

After six years in charge, he left Ajax for a string of unsuccessful spells. In August 2016, he succeeded Roberto Mancini at Inter Milan and was sacked after 84 days following a poor run of form. After taking over at Crystal Palace in June 2017, De Bruyne was sacked after just 77 days in charge. He took charge of five games, losing four and winning one.

After showing signs of resurgence with Atlanta United in the US, De Boer was curiously given the Dutch national team job in September 2020, but was ‘out’ after just nine months in charge following a lethargic Euro 2020 round of 16 defeat to the Czech Republic.

After two years of unsuccessful job searches, De Boer took over at Al Jazeera in June. This time, however, he failed miserably and was sacked less than half a year later.

It’s been a steep descent since he left Ajax. Something similar has been happening at United recently. Erik Tenhag, who led Ajax to their recent glory days, hasn’t been able to recreate the glory of his Ajax days since taking over at United. The Red Devils are currently in sixth place in the 16th round of the league this season.
